Tell me about those times when you had that horrible feeling in your gut, and about how often you get the oportunity to feel it!

Although it's not as discouraging as the first rejection but it's still discouraging. :(

Yes, I know what that "tap tap tap" sound at night and all those rolled dollar bills are about.

Disappointment? Yah, nothing too overly powerful. At Anime Express my original intent was to unveil "Yatta!: Hooray for Anime!" and show off "Lowrider" to public audience for the first time. However just days before I was to leave for Florida, not 24 hours after completion I experienced what we'll refer to as a "fatal user error." I received *cough couch* a virus *cough couch* that wiped out my video as well as 2 others I hadn't yet backed up: "Ah! My Emotion" and the 99% complete "At a Medium Pace." Therefore I had to resort to my two oldies ("Bloody Eye" and "Auska's Rage".) An error that cost me 3 videos, a con win, and set me back 6 months in editing. To this date I have yet to fully recover all 3 and fear they may have to be remastered.

The good side is I finally got to field-test my bumper. I didn’t expect it to raise that much laughter, so I guess in the end it wasn’t a total loss. And I just have to work that much harder and unveil Yatta at AWA.

Yeah. I remember submitting to AX for the first time. Although, all three of those videos were crap, so I didn't care. Although, I almost felt like I wanted to just stop and just stick with making promotional videos for my anime club.

I'm glad I didn't.

I guess we've been defeated before we even began.

Err, I'm kind of unhappy it seems like the video I thought was better did not make it to ax this year. I was not suprised my videos did not make it last year. They were vcd quailty footage. ^_^;;;

Other than that, mostly I'm plesently surpized, but I don't have very high hopes. I know I have no (zero, none, other such words) of even coming in second to last at this years Ax, but oh well.

I'm not even sure it really made it to the contest yet. -_-

I have that sinking failing feeling all the time with my swimming.

At the amv creator dinner at AX, we can all eat sushi and the wasabi will wash away our worries! :lol:

You weren't rejected too were you? Hmm, indeed, we will have to partake in much of the sushiing and wasabiing. *nods*

I never expect to win any awards unless it is for a Hentai contest. That pretty much keeps me from being dissapointed. :lol:
