Just an opinion - mainley DBZ amvs
Hi!
Im new to the forums but I have downloaded and watched quite a number of the videos offered. I have to say that a number of them are quite impressive, however, there are a significant number that I feel need improvment. In particular here I refere to the mass of DBZ amvs: Alot of them have a lack of timing, the syncing is way off, the music leaves alot to be dessired.
Alot of them, the quality of the video source used is very low, the size is really small, they seem to have no theme what so ever, just randomly linke images.
I dont mind what music people use in their AMVs as long as they are well timed, synced and have some form of theme, preferably which is accissble to everyone either at the same level or at a number of different levels. Another factor I tend to consider is the replay value. If i keep coming back to a video over and over then I consider it to be a good AMV but it has to have the affor mentiond things in order to gain replay value.
Im not posting here merely to criticise but just to offer an opinion which may help people to make better AMVs. Please dont think bad of me for this post, it is only because I would like for people to make the best video possible and I hope that this helps in some way.

The problem with DBZ is the anime sux with anything other than action music. Pointless action gets lame after awhile and the people who even consider using are either newbies or believe that if they use DBZ will somehow do it justice. The anime doesn't offer much for the music video community so I wouldn't expect any good ones to come out. There might be descent ones but not good nor great ones.

Its amazing you have only shown two videos. Now point out others please, I was gonna mention these two earlier but felt no reason too at the time.

Logically, we need only point out one counterexample to prove you wrong. You stated that, out of the entire set of current and future anime music videos, you expected to see no "good" or "great" music videos using Dragon Ball Z. The "no" qualifier means that you expect to see zero such music videos to appear. Therefore, only one counterexample was needed to show that you were wrong.MAS PRODUCTIONS wrote:Its amazing you have only shown two videos. I now fully expect you to pull one or more of these lame moves:
(a) redefine "good", "great", and "decent"
(b) pull the Stick of Relativism out of your ass
(c) back out of logic
(d) tell me to STFU
because with a reply like the one you just made, the probability of you intelligently admitting defeat hovers very close to zero.
