What's the longest you've ever stayed awake in one sitting? And how long did you crash afterwards?
My current score: 82.74 hours straight
Slept a full 24 hours after that.
Method of staying awake: Coffee, SoBe Adrenaline Rush, and a six-pack of Bawls (little-known energy drink that tastes like it's alcoholic but isn't).

In the early '90s I was working as a production assistant for the (then) ABC affiliate in Birmingham AL when the biggest blizzard to hit the area in many years buried the city under ablanket of white and shut everything down for the weekend.
All the stations sit atop Red Mountain, so once I got to the top there wasn't any way I was getting down. No snow plows, y'see.
I was awake the better part of 72 hours, subsisting on massive amounts of caffeine and occasional food. No way to comfortable sleep in a TV station, and what rooms were designated as sleep spots were taken by reporters and anchors. Poor production weasels were left to fend for themselves.
I actually lugged my Amiga 2000 up there, so I was able to post messages to the outside world through GEnie. Remember GEnie, old schoolers?
