I was down in mexico, and they have these massive flying cockroaches... like 4-7 inches long... and the motherfuckers FLY. Weirdest shit I've ever seen... Plus there were these huge spiders down there, bigger than your stretxched out hand. Over here in oklahoma, every spring the Air Force installation complex I work in gets invaded by giant bugs... Like 2 inch long junebugs that crunch when you step on them, and enormous cockroaches that hiss if you piss them off. Up in alaska where I grew up, the daddy long legs come indoors when it gets to becoming winter, and they can get to be as big as 3-5 inches wide including their legs. Nature is weird.

We get 'em in Colombia too. Every now and then the huge critters would fly in my window (Usually at night), fluttering around. They are nearly impossible to catch (hell, the ones that run are hard enough, these fly. Right at you). Oh the fun, fun evenings I spent chasing the huge bastards around the house.

I like bugging people. Deal with it.

We got a few farked up bugs here in texas. The roaches do fly, but they're closer to 3 and 4 inches.
I've also seen a huge flying insect (Twice the size of a large bumble bee) that looks like it is half wasp and half hornet. The top half is red like a wasp, and it was a huge yellow and black abdomen. I don't know if it is some bug trying to imitate stinging insects or not, but there is no way I am going any where near those things.

Heck, creepy things make great pets. I'm planning to own a ball python one of these days. Great pet. Feed it every two months, keep proper lighting, and it's a happy snake.

Hows that help? It's only a small one but.

Er.......I'd pet it with a glove attached to a really long tree branch?
