Once again, yours truly has another great idea. I've been hearing how people don't really like .Hack//SIGN, but I really like it. It's more of a drama than an action anime anyways. It gets really good later on. Anyways, here it is:

Anime: .Hack//SIGN
Song: Collective Soul - The World I Know

I thought that this song fit well with Tsukasa's unique view of "The World". I really, REALLY wanted to make this one myself, but I knew I couldn't.

Hopefully, someone who is really good at making AMVs will make this. I sure wouldn't like some noob butchering one of my favorite animes to oblivion!

(...by "noob" I mean someone who just compiles scenes together making slop...)

Not to detour from your idea, but does anyone know what happened to Corran Productions? He was working on a Shinobu video using the same song.

Someone made an entire Wierd Al Polka song with only one Disc of Excel Saga, so it might be something doable

I like that song as well and could be done with several songs or even a Various ( i can think of Lain, Evangelion, and others).

I've done a video like that.. Well, not with that exact song but with the same general Idea. It's about Tsukasa's view of The World, his Player, and basically highlights how he can't log out... It's definetly one of my best.. Up to par with "Fear Dot Hack".. But you wouldn't realize what I'm saying unless yous aw it... but don't.. I don't want you to force you to see anything..

Anyway, I only used the first DVD, and mushed all the forshadowing scenes together.. It turned out very well... Not up for download, yet though. There's still a few kinks that have to be worked, and it's too big to host by myself...

Er.. I used the song "All The Things She Said" by Tatu...

And to be on topic, it can be done, and probably will.. Your idea, I mean.. With the first DVD.. If you know what happens at the end of the series, you can definetly make it work with just the first DVD, isnce there's so much foreshadowing anyway...

.HACK IS THE BOMB! I really like the whole idea of someone being stuck inside a videogame like that. I am sure that there are a few people out there who would have had a dream or to about being in a game out there.If it ever happened to someone it would be to horrible to imagine what would happen to them.If i had the computer powered up I would give it a try. That is the perfect song for a video of .hack
