It seems there's an unwritten rule that Saturday afternoon TV must suck. Horribly. By discovering this, I developed a strange little hobby of watching Toonami reruns muted with various music blaring from my CD player. In effect, making cheap-ass, spontaneous, one-time-only music videos. Id have to say it's loads of entertainment and doesn't cost a thing
Recently I happened to be watching a DBZ rerun (go ahead and lynch me. I actually do get that frelling bored) when the G Gundam theme started up. And an amazing, almost Willy Wonka-ish thing happened: it FIT! Perfectly!
G Gundam has been often touted as the DBZ of the Gundam saga. And considering the nature of the Z fighters' attacks, a lot can be done with the lyrics "Shining Finger"....
Just a thought. If I ever do decide to pursue it, I'll probably tear a page out of SQ's book: rent and rip the DVDs. Yeah! Blockbuster leechin', baby!
