Can someone point me to the guidlines or requirements of avatars and sigs?

Thanks to everyone who like it, I made it myself. For those that didn't like it either way I'll sleep tonight.

Avatars must be 80x80 pixels and 6 kilobytes, maximum.

Sigs must be 40 pixels high and 600 pixels wide, maximum.

Your avatar is ok, but your sig is too big. Sorry.

Here's one more. This one was kinda hard to make, since I'm really picky about the look. I hate it if it looks too crowded or too much on one side. I had to be careful here, because of the angel in the background.

When ever I try to make a avatar or a sig it never works. Its usually more then 6kb. What am I doing wrong. Oh I know, what file type should I save as?

Sigs don't have to be less than 6kb. They can be any size they wish, just not over the measurements.

Well, it all depends on what program you're using. I used to use MS Paint (LOL!), and the pic was normally the right filesize with the resizing of the pic...

I save all my pics as JPEG.

Right now I use Adobe Photoshop 7. It has an option called "Save for web". This condenses the file to as small as it can go.

Would you like me to make you an avatar? I can't do sigs right now, I have too much on my plate. -_-
