Trailer audio
I'm curious to where people get their audio and video for their trailers. Video being video from the movie's trailer, not anime footage.

It depends really. If the trailer is for a video that's out already, then you can extract the trailer from the DVD; that's what I've been able to do for the trailers I've been working on. But most times the movie hasn't been released yet or it's only in theaters so that's when you can use Apple.com's rediculous number of trailers. You just have to separate the audio and prepare it for use in whatever program you're gonna be editing in. I'm pretty sure that's what WuWu does.

Unfortunately I can't help you with that part of it, I've haven't done the QT method of getting a trailer yetMy_Nemesis wrote:I've checked out the trailers at apple. The problem is I can't download the trailer to seperate the audio.

I have found ways to download them from apple but my way is probably too complicated for its own good. This is how I do it:
1. I first go to the page where the trailer is located.
2. Next I right click and click on find source,
3. When the html comes up I search for the source file ei "trailer.mov"
4. After I copy the complete source file address, I open up a program that reads html and I create a hyperlink to that video file source.
5. Finally I just right click on the hyper link and save target as.
Like I said its more complicated than it really should be, but thats how I do it.
