<venting and ranting> Looking for Evanescence videos I noticed that all of them but one are to "Bring Me to Life". It's like Linkin Park all over again....only these songs are better.

So I'm like "damn! at least put it to something else besides the stupid daredevil movie theme!"

This is true, it is the "hero" effect. Same happened with the theme from Spiderman. I actually dont like the group myself.

Well at least no one has used Korn, so I am safe.

Also I don't think overuse matters that much... you'll still find diamonds, regardless of whether the song has been used 4000000000000000 times.

yea .. perfect example out of all the linkin ball Z in the end vid's .. Dark Karumi's (sp) Tribute to vegeta. Much praise to him there.

Same with Hemorrage by Fuel. Nailz's "Death & Remberance of Goku" is quite a prize with that song, if you take a good look at the video.

I agree with Fluxmeister, I really don't think overuse really matters that much in a video. I suppose if you're all about the recognition an overused song/group could hurt your video's chance of being viewed (or help, seeing as if it's overused it must be popular and liked, "is the glass half full or half empty?"). You shouldn't worry about how many times a song or group has been used. If you have an idea, do it, you don't even have to release it if you don't want to. People care way too much about originality in song/anime choice, even if the editing techniques or themes are stale.
