Add a 'Trailer' Catagory

In all the catagories there are to pick from, drama, action, all that, I think the catagory of 'Trailer' should be added. I mean, the Trailers really seperate from standard AMV's, so they should have that as a catagory checkmark. It makes sense, dosn't it? ^^

Great suggestion. I think that would expand on the amv franchise quite well. And it gives people more choices instead of pure amv-amvism.

I think it's a good idea as well, with the increase in the sheer number of trailer based audio I think a new catagory for it would be nice.

Maybe.

Is a trailer an "Anime Music Video" though? It's not IMO, though it is a fun piece of video editing. Trailers are closer to fandub-like category than AMV, yet still a category on its own.

No it's not. You're taking the audio stream from one thing. Then using your machine and anime to synch and match the video to the audio. Basicly the same principal of an AMV, isn't it?

Considering the fact that there are lots of non-anime, video game, and live-action music videos on the org, and also the fact that there's a Non-Anime category for videos, I think a trailer category would be just fine.
