I know my opinion means about as nil as the next fella's, but what the hay, here it is. I personally see them NOT as AMVs, but more of a cousin of the audio/video-genre. They retain SOME music, but not in the same way that it would qualify as a music video. And no, I'm not saying that we should exclude all anime trailers from the site just because the site's name is animemusicvideos.org
That's time-consuming, complicated, and all-around pointless.
I'm saying that while not exactly AMVs, they're still a part of the fan-made anime video family.
