*I mean, in comparison to everything else...they let the cigarette butts slide where they used to just remove them, the still allowed it to be called an Angel, something they probably wouldn't have done at an earlier point in Toonami's history...

CN's site says they're showing Nadeisco ep 6 and Eva ep 2 today.
So, all the kiddies get to see the angel get ripped apart. Hey Heero did they edit out the cross shaped explosions?

Glad I ran into this post before Eva came on. I missed most of Nadesico. Thanks a lot school!! Bastards.
Anyways. I think its kind of interesting to put Eva on after Nadesico being both Akito and Shinji are voiced by the same person. Or maybe its just me.

Im really glad that the creators of Evangelion and Nadesico aren't watching this bull shit they call tv. I watched today's episodes to see how bad it was and how can I say this. . . how can the editors live with themselves? I hope that this trash is never shown again. Also for anyone who hasn;t seen these series other than what they have shown on CN then go and buy them because what they have shown is utter bull shit, you have pissed upon as viewers. How the hell did ADV let CN butcher these animes? Hopefully they will never - ever do this again to good animes.

I did make my own notes while watching eva today;

- no inro
- cut blood squirting from unit 01's head
- misato talking to ritsuko, cut entire dialog after "its already been approved" about how misato wont be putting the moves on shinji etc
- cut misato's beer
- cut the ass shot of misato during dinner
- cut shots misato's bras outside bathroom
- cut entire toothpicks scene
- misato decided its best to take baths in a blue one piece
- cut blood squirting from unit 01 again
- cut Sachiel's hands being broken off
- cut Sachiel's spike things on his chest being ripped off

they did surprisingly leave the cross shaped explosions in... heh... I'd like to see CN get a bunch of hate mail from christian mothers.. heheheh

I think the hate mail will more likely come from them showing an "angel" being killed than the cross explosion.

They completely altered Misato's character... I'm almost glad they didn't get to Asuka. Naw, strike the almost, I'm DAMN glad they didn't get to her!!
