I've finally got my Bit Torrent Server up. I'm now hosting Tainted Donuts under the new system. http://www.animeconnection.net/bt.html

If you would like to have you're AMV hosted on BT for free you can contact me, the only criterea I have is that your AMV must recieve a resonable and steady amount of hits in order for the system to be effective.

Oh, BTW, there's no way to beat the system, even if you did break it (for those using the BT CVS), you're download speed will be Sub-Par, namely because I've rigged my server up in a way that those who have a hacked version and are not uploading will getting shitty speeds of 3kb/s or less. Well, I lost my hosting on this vid, and wouldn't mind getting it back. If you want proof its a decent vid then look at the scores it got while it was up, or just ask anyone who's seen it.

How about some AMVs I entered by proxy? They were definately a popular file when I had them up on my university server. And are ranked on the AMV database's most underrated. (Meaning, it's download compared to it's opinions ratio is blown way out of porportion.)

GGX Prev has gotten 2447 downloads, and Why I I'm Here (Violinist of Hameln Music Video) has gotten 17354 downloads.

Well... I'll be developing my own BT system... I'm getting a second ADSL line and 1 to 2 more computers to act as servers... Anyway, before everyone jumps onto the BT wagon, suggest you find out what you're doing, even though BT is user-friendly, it's not setup friendly, you can easily make mistakes. Just a warning.

I agree with Klin. We should have those certain videos up that are scattered among the net, most noticably Kevin Caldwell's videos, among others. This will most likely help reduce the amount of those new to the org complaining about not being able to download the Top 10% and Most Popular videos.
