How do I delete a video I've entered?

I began to submit a video yesterday but my connection was interupted. When I tried editing the incomplete entry I couldn't edit the step 4: LINKS.

BTW- the video was RahXephon - Aerials

You go to edit my video on the member main page. Go to links section, if there is a link to your vid there that you want to get rid of then just look for a check box next to the link and check it then go to the bottom of screen and click delete.

Well, you see, I can't actual edit the LINKS step. There is no link on its tab. It's just text.

In that case you may want to go down to Site Help and explain your problem there. If you're saying what I think you're saying, then Phade needs to know that there's a step you can't get to so he can fix it.

But before you do that, try to explain your problem a little bit more, it's hard to understand exactly what's wrong.

When a video has a premiere date still in the future, the "links" tab is inactive. You can get to it by going to the "anime" tab and clicking the continue button at the bottom of the page.

Or, you could try resetting your video's premiere date, but this way's a little faster and doesn't require you to cahnge any of the information in the database.

Is there anyone, that when they go to either edit a video or add one, that some of the steps(anime, links, music) are just text and no link? Sometimes, when I hit "next" it even skips that step... I thought about reporting the bug, but so far no one else has said anything close to this problem so I thought it was just me. Also, sometimes the anime won't add until I check BOTH boxes.

you can only edit a video. but you cant delete the title of one.
i dont know why... but since v2 of a-m-v.org... things have seemed too much more... how do i put it... STUCK.

you cant edit the video titles you enter. this is bad because... people change video ideas. i mean... people have an idea and by the time they've entered it into the database... they've alreayd changed their minds.
so it's wasted space and the video never becomes a reality.

You can edit titles...right up until the video's premiere date (which should be enough time for unfinished videos) and certain internal things get set permanently.

This would probably be why the site guidelines say that the DB is for all AMVs which *exist*, not for ideas that may someday turn into videos. If you put up an entry for a video before it's done, it's your own fault if something changes and you're stuck with a dead entry.

Ofcourse, those guidelines also say that you shouldn't use digisubs or pirated encodes of commercial titles, and we all know how effective that ban is.
