Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

The only way I can think you get people to see them would be to send them via Messenger or something. I'm not too familiar with the cataloging of the information for your vid. So unfortunetely, I can't really help you there. Sorry.

I do have some ideas.. your already a member so i figure you know how to post the amv's up and such

Basically I use a site called www.imagestation.com
theres a tutorial somewhere on the forum how to use but i think you can handle it... btw... if you do use it the video must be in mpeg or mpg form... its a sony site after all

hey bamonkey, I went on imagestation.com and was able to upload two of my videos (within the file size limit) and anyway I by chance came across your mv, and it was great! What program did you use? The thing about the program I hate that I`m using is that, your files sizes come out massive if you make them...normal ex. 340x240 and not that good quality, well compared to yours anyway, and I can`t do any transistions or special effects, but the only two music videos I could upload the file sizes are smaller but unfortunatly so is the quality (at some parts, my program put in etchee stuff or something) and the actual video is smaller...like 170x??? or something, its a horrible program, but I have managed to make a fairly decent video, but thats 109.99mb and wont play the last seconds of it on realplayer on widows media....forgive me, I write LONG letters. And I want some way to play my favorite mv for everyone with having to pay, and AOL/AIM will take too long to get to each individual person who wants to see it, thanks for telling me about imagestation.com, it was a relief to find some place for people to see my mv`s.

Thanx for the comment on the vid, i think its the first ive gotten so far lol...anyways i use a couple of programs at the same time so i will try to make the process short and sweet. I use adobe premiere 6.0 or 6.5 to make the actual amv part of it, which is a pretty good editor and im pretty comfortable with it. After i save the vid into divx format i open it in virtual dub (free online) and use that to compress AGAIN into xvid format (look for free xvid codec somewhere...) then i use another one called TMPGEnc to make it into the mpeg format so i can post on imagestation... it makes it a bit bigger but not by too much. Well hope this helped you out... ill be sure to try to keep up with the all the new stuff going on
