GUNDAM FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP SUCKING: Feturing characters that arent obsessed with fight for peace ethics and spend their fights fighting instead of arguing over their morals as to why they have chosen sides. Fights that arent interupted by philosophical drivel and a plot. Not a good or bad one, just a plot.

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

God, I STILL want to smack the director of Wing for deliberately keeping their sexualities vague...
Anyway: Here's my cop-out idea (I realize kind of sounds similar to the original MSG, it wasn't originally intended to):
Title: Gundam Type-1
Timeline: New Alternate Universe
Background: Background: In the Earth-Space year 0001, mankind officially began construction on space colonies that would be used to expand the ever-growing human race. These colonies, also called spheres, soon grew in number, and by the year 0063, almost half the human race had emigrated to them. However, with any sort of expansion, conflict is to be expected. After another 5 years of peace. A group of Spheres led by a group calling themselves the Universal Isolationist Movement, began to demand the ability to cut ties to the Earth as well as whatever other colonies they saw fit. After months of negotiation, a standoff at one of the colonies broke out into war. Thus, the Earth-Sphere War began. After 5 years, the war, fueled by the zeal of the Isolationists, had resulted in massive damage to both sides, including the destruction of entire colonies, and rendering the Earth continent of Africa virtually uninhabitable. The war ended in the year 0074, during the battle of Sphere Cluster Omega, a particularly violent struggle, when a group of colonists, disgusted and horrified upon learning of what was happening as a result of their leaders, staged a coup detat and overthrew command, after establishing control, they immediately surrendered the fleet. From that day, peace was established and the Earth and colonies banded under the organization of the Earth Space Coalition (ESC).
Story: The story takes place 10 years after the Earth-Sphere wars end. The decade of peace has once again been shattered by a recent series of terrorist attacks from an organization claiming to be the renewed Universal Isolationist Movement (UIM), to make it worse, they also have a new weapon that the ESC has never seen before, a mobile suit. While they have managed to capture a few, the ESC's fleet is still unprepared to deal with the UIM's MS militia. However, a glimmer of hope appears when the ESC receives word of a new MS that the enemy is developing on what is assumed to be a neutral sphere. Deciding to play a risky gamble, they call on mercenary Shin Okata to attempt to steal this experimental weapon. However, after taking the job, Shin finds himself wrapped up in a war he hadn't planned on becoming part of.

Well, actually Quatre's the only one whose kinsky rating leans more towards being homosexual. Being the youngest of several older sisters, they probably had a lot of fun cross-dressing him. The other Gundam Wing boys have girls that pine after them after a fashion. Heero has Releena, Trowa has Katherine, Duo has Hilda, and Wufei has Sally. (Wufei also had a wife who died before Operation Meteor, Chinese have married that young before in the past.) Quatre gets... the Maguanarc guys. But given all their character designs, it's not surprising that fanfictions about guy-on-guy relations between the characters were created.

Cant let this post die. Come on, people, think up of any good Gundam plots. Just think of all the the disillusioned Gundam fans who are disappointed to see their fave franchise repeating the same plot lines and going stale after decades since the first Gundam!
For Char's sake (sa-ke?), it's Gundam, motobakas!!!

How about a supernatural Gundam series where the pilots aren't human anymore? Heck, there's been so many newtype plots and themes of alienating colonists. Why not have some actual alien characters? Macross certainly has them. Or go out on a limb and make them vampires. Vampire anime is steadily gaining popularity these days, it seems.
It is all too easy to picture Valdor Farkill as a vampire.
Or a Gundam Sports anime. I think there was one Gundam series that was centered around racing, maybe take that to a higher animation quality with the sort of sparkling CG graphics that are being used in newer animes?

Saint Gundam:
Here's the sad twisted and irelevantly awkward plot:
By Advancements of science people can now be immortal (no not that they cannot die, but just that they won't die of celular degeneration). Seiya and all of the other saints (that still live) are made immortal toghether with a bunch of rich jackasses.
Then an alien race called ""Busters"" invades earth, and an AOL time warner company called L33t starts making mobile suits out of the blue called D.I.C.K.S for their acronym in french, then the saints realize their tired of siting in their asses in the sanctuary and volunteer to pilot the D.I.C.K.S, and of course they got pissed off with the name (although Athena liked it) and changed it to Gundam for international considerations (it means "Suck my your cok Afghanistan" in Suajili).
Now by many other scientific breakthrouhgs, Saints can channel their cosmos through the Gundams, and they now sport a fully equiped toilet next to the seat (Shun asked for it and since no one complained about the idea, might as well do it). They also feel the pain of the robot augmented 1d5 + 4 times.
the plot is as follows, The ""Busters"" revive every fucken dead saint and god, and kill athena and then athena's saints get pissed off, the gundams are a trivial part of the plot and get masacrated in the first 20s of battle and then Seiya is raped by the golden cloth of sagitarious and then he fires a golden arrow (which was in his ass 2min ago) at the ""busters'"" ship and WHO!!, it's party time and another Lame gundam ends aimlessly

First off, to the idiot duo CaTaClYsM and AKH257: if all you're going to do is a drive-by "GUNDAM SUCKS!", don't bother posting because that's not what Madzack asked for. A certain Luke Valentine already got his ass rightfully kicked for pulling that kind of crap. So if I were you, I'd go get myself a life.
Now, as for a Gundam plot....

Gundam Apocryphon
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
200 years of peace have reigned in the wake of the events of Endless Waltz, and the terraforming project carried out by Zechs and Noin so long ago has since been completed. But that peace is about to be shattered not by the rebels themselves, but by natural disaster. The sun produces an unprecedentedly strong coronal mass emission (basically a very powerful solar flare) that tears through the ozone layer. The energy is funnelled at the poles by Earth's magnetic field, and causes a worldwide catastrophe, the radiation annihalating nearly all life. The few survivors are forced to leave Earth, as the planet is now unliveable.
Although the humans on terraformed Mars survived since they were not in the path of the disaster, an old yet decorated General, Terze Rillaeon, takes advantage of the alarm caused by the incident to seize control of the Red Senate (Mars' governing body). The strict control laws and expensive project to re-terraform Earth he generates bring the people of Mars to the edge of a full-scale rebellion.
A dissenting Senator and retired soldier, Dix (DEECE) Renada, attempts to sway the Senate in order to prevent a war. He fails, as Rillaeon has the backing of the Earth survivors, whose firsthand experience keeps the Senate on his side. Seeing he has no other choice in the matter, Dix leaves the Senate to join the rebellion.
There, he butts heads with the leader of the Scarlet Angels (as the rebellion has called themselves), Tetra Ovarloff. She doesn't trust him due to his former position in the Senate, and he's at his wits end trying to prove he's not an infiltrator, no matter many battles he risks his life fighting. He finally cements this when Tetra is taken for ransom by Rillaeon's forces, the demand being the Angels' unconditional surrender. Dix is forced to choose between Tetra's life and everything he's been fighting for. Determined not to sacrifice either one, he mounts a daring rescue mission...alone.
Meanwhile, one of the Earth survivors, Meya Rashada, also begins to see through Rillaeon's facade. Eventually she sways the other survivors to expose Rillaeon for the power-mad lunatic he is. The Senate finally agrees, and decides to amend matters.
In the course of the final showdown between the Senate and the Scarlet Angels, Dix confronts Rillaeon himself in front of a bound Tetra. Unknown to Rillaeon, the Senate, swayed by Meya and the survivors, has called off his army, stripped his power, and declared him a public enemy. During the confrontation, Rillaeon gets this news confirmed. Realizing he has nowhere to run and that killing Dix and Tetra is pointless since the rebellion now has the Senate's backing (which technically stops the war), he releases Tetra and tells the both of them to leave. They do. Once they are out of sight, Rillaeon kills himself with a single bullet to the temple.
Tetra signs a treaty with the Senate, officially ending the war, and she and Dix are declared war heroes and given Medals of Valor. Dix declines his, claiming that there is no such thing as a war hero and that he performed no such valorous act. Tetra accepts hers, and gives the Gundams up to be housed in the Earth Memorial, a museum dedicated to the solar disaster's countless victims, as a reminder of what can happen when the wrong people allow fear to cloud their judgement.
END
Every series must have its unique Gundams and piloting system. The system in this series is something like the E-Frames in ExoSquad, where the suit is controlled by the pilot's thought processes, meaning that said pilot must be extremely focused to be effective. Yet by eliminating the barrier of human reaction time and uniting man and machine, these suits, with the right pilots, are some of the fastest monsters in Gundam history.
Unlike most of the Gundam series which involve at least 5, there are only three Gundams in this entire story: the Gundam Metatron (Dix's), Essene Gundam (Tetra's), and the Gundam Morning Star (Rillaeon's, then later passed to his assistant Deux Ralcour).
Well, that's about it until I can think of something to add to it.
Just pushing this post up.
Oh, konnichiawa, Stalker, for defending me.
Alright you apes, keep those post coming. I know you have that Gundam plot just waiting to burst out. You all could've done better than just 17 posts!
