PlayOnMac & AMVpack
I installed AMVpack on an iMac about eight years ago and it's still working on a MacPro with OSX 10.11.6
I'd love to update DGMPGDec to DGIndexNV (or just install DGIndexNV), but I can't get it to install with PlayOnMac. I don't plan to use DGIndexNV but want to be able to use DGDenoise.dll.
Just downloading and copying to the right locations does not work unfortunately (as described for DGIndex here

What would be the way to go about it, is it even possible? I read that Nvidia drivers are needed, where can I check which ones I have?

PlayOnMac has not worked for some time, I would highly recommend using the macOS version of AMVpack instead as it has native tools that do the same functions as most of the tools included in AMVpack for Windows.

Thanks for answering and sorry that I posted in the wrong thread.
I didin't go for the latest AMVpack because I want to use VirtualDUb. I could set up a system running OSX 10.14 Mojave in order to install Avisynth+. Do you happen to still have your latest AMVpack version that is compatible with Mojave? I would love to try to install that.

nevermind, I got Avisynth+ 3.75 (and VirtualDub) working under High Sierra, which I think will be all I need. Thanks for helping to make this possible.

Glad you got it working, I stopped supporting that setup because it the latest version no longer works out of the box for all the tools included in AMVpack. Also, I forgot to mention before, but DGIndexNV is unlikely to work ever because it requires a NVidia graphics card as it uses hardware decoding and I'm not sure even if you had a Mac old enough to have one that it would pipe through or support CUDA.

Oh, I didn't know that. I got a Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT in that MacPro which seems to support CUDA 1.1, would that be good enough for DGIndexNV? I installed the CUDA driver after testing DGIndexNV because I wanted to use BM3D, only to notice that BM3D_CUDA expects at least 3.5. I might get me a Nvidia Geforce GT980, it's about 50 Euro these days.
BTW, I also tried to get BM3D working on an iMac 2019 running Monterey and can't. I used your AMVpack_241220_macOS for that. Should this be possible? I *think* it supports AVX2, if I did research it right. I asked for help here

As I said in the previous post, I don't think it can pass through, at least not easily. You would probably need to follow-up with WINE developers or PlayOnMac about that. As for the other issue, I will reply on that thread.
