Mob's Tea Party
Wow, what a ride making this was. I initially had a different video planned and started for RICE, but for content reasons it couldn't be accepted. So, I went with this video with only 2 months to make it. Three weeks before the deadline, I still had most of the masking to do and I was sure I wasn't going to be able to finish. Somehow I did, and landed my SECOND Omurice/Best in Show award!

Re: Mob's Tea Party
This is an AMV I'll be coming back to.
Nice work.
Sorry that's all I've got today

Re: Mob's Tea Party
Weaving three sources together into a single "new world" AMV--a very different multi-source approach than an AMV like "Rider's Joy," for example--is hard enough, probably ridiculously challenging to pull off in a convincing way.
Doing so in the context of an incredibly tight and well-synced action AMV, with lip sync and lots of lyric sync, is something else altogether.

Re: Mob's Tea Party
What inspired you to switch from your original video plan to creating "Mob's Tea Party," and how did you manage to complete it in just two months?
