Hi everyone,
I've always wanted to make something that was more of a pure action AMV and I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
Song: Lost Sky - Fearless (Lyrics) pt.II (feat. Chris Linton)
Animes:
Fate Stay Night (Unlimited Blade Works, Heaven's Feel)
Pokemon Origins
Afro Samurai
Samura Champloo
Sword Art Online
Dragon Ball Super Broly
The Girl who Leapt Through Time
Devilman Op
Harmony
Darling in the FranXX
Promised Neverland
Bakemonogatari
Naruto Shipuuden
Stein's Gate
I originally started off with a concept called "Red v Blue". The idea was to make an action AMV that showcased the red v blue theme we often see in anime, ala Naruto (red) vs Sasuke (blue), or Archer (red) vs Lancer (blue), etc etc. Once i started editing though, that all fell away somehow and turned into this.
Anyways, I had always wanted to try my hand at an action-category AMV and story was never my strong suit so here we go again.
This AMV is about overcoming your struggles, fears and addiction - Fearless. Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.

Re: I'm Feeling Fearless
One of the weaknesses of pure action videos like this is that they are far more engaging to edit than they are to watch. There's little to make one care about the moment-to-moment flow of the video as it's just a bunch of disconnected (but very cool) action scenes flying by with little context or connection to the lyrics beyond the plain struggle of battle.
Fortunately for me, as someone who has a fondness for both making and watching these kinds of videos, putting myself in the shoes of the editor as a way of increasing my enjoyment is quite easy. You certainly had a blast making this, and it shows. There's nothing quite like going hog wild and just...freaking...EDITING. That is something I relate to and respect, and so I had a good time watching this.

Thanks Silk! I definitely feel the "more engaging to edit than they are to watch" to be true. If I'm going to replay the same clips 1000x while editing might as well be the cool ones xD
I'm really glad you enjoyed it, your Witches go Hard AMV definitely did inspire some of the flow I was going for in this one.

I saw those transitions. I think the Charizard one was my favorite. Nothing too elaborate, but they really smoothed out the flow even though they were quick. Sometimes, just a few frames of masking makes all the difference.

Some really good moments of sync in this, and maybe that's what's most important.
