Re: AKROSS Con 2020 - Sinmara (Devotion)
Everything up to 0:54 was great. Really spooky and evocative! At 0:56 the scenes start to be more "plot based" and I lost the thread. I didn't see a lot of continuity between the various scenes. The random guy talking at the end of the song was a turn off, since the AMV doesn't try to sync around it.
I'm being a little harsh because your skill as an editor is apparent. It's well timed and the effects look rad. I guess I'm mostly just a little sad the second half didn't live up to the first for me.

Thanks for the comment. I agree about the plot based but the random guy talking is by itself the concept of this video. Didnt intend to lyric synch but the scenes themselves at that part evocated his words

Man I can't believe you're still editing after all this time. I remember when I first came on here and you were the first AMV editor I ever got advice from. Like damn, time flies so fast.
Anyway, about the video, definitely got those spooky vibes going and masking is decent. But, personally, I would recommend for this type of video, if you had extra time, definitely find a definitive "Color Scheme" and see if you can maintain that color scheme throughout the vid after 1:16.
Between 1:11 and 1:14, definitely recommend doing a sharp black screen, for more impact.
Anyway, my two cents, still liked it, fun to know you're still editing too.
