Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

It's not really too polished, but it's something.
Oh, and don't mind all those shite still masks, It's just that i needed something to do while juicing my brains out for whatever i'd be using as my next clip, which let me tell you, making a highly edited amv using only 70 minutes of content is something Dante forgot to put right below limbo in the layers of hell.
Enjoy.

Welcome to the Org! The rules of announcing videos in the "AMV Announcement forum" require you to catalog your video first. So please do that as soon as possible
. If you don't know how, here is the FAQ post about it http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/v ... 2#p1546652
Until then, I'm going to move your thread to the “Awaiting Catalog Entry” forum. And I can move it back once I see that you've done it.

Editing seems on spot. i guess some of the masks .. would be better without some.
Anyway i guess you shoud try mixing 2 series that are similiar or something longer, good luck. Avoid ops with credits too.

It's the bane of editing using 60 minutes of content really, but yeah the masks were a result of me being bored while looking for the next clip to edit so i'd just mask something while i thought of whatever would fit what comes next.

The shaky cam made me ill, and combined with the credits, I couldn't finish it. Action alone is not enough to hold a viewer's attention. You need a concept, a theme, some kind of narrative structure. This is better shown rather than described. I think NHMK's Birthright is the best example of this:

I recognize the validity of all your points, especially the one about action alone not being enough even before your comment. I think i used better structure for my next Project, albeit it was still limited.Kionon wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 12:08 amEcho everything Mol said.HeartbreakOrchestraAmvs wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 6:18 pmIt's not really too polished, but it's something. And about your point with the credits, yeah.... roughly 60% or over of this amv was Credits and previews, as i started without realizing the huge delay between the third and fourth episodes.
Although If I may somewhat disagree on one point, while I did overdo the shaky cam sometimes i think all in all action and zooms are always enhanced with some shake
On a note sorry for both thumbnail, but that's what usually gets the most attention to videos

I would try to hold back on the amazingly intense violent action within the opening seconds of a video. It's the quietest part of the song, but immediately from that point it's hard to feel like we're building up towards anything. Because how could we?
