Of course, I have other plans for this comp, I do of course plan to use it for school work, and everything else that may come along in the future. It'll last me forever blah blah blah. You get the point, that I was just asking if the callibration was optimum for music videos sake.
School work?? Must be one hell of a school... My point is for so must cost and power, you've got to ensure you can utilize it since in a year or two even that machine will be obsolete and the newer chaper models faster. Hec, I could afford such a system myself but I've not found a practical reason to spend so much and I also do editing jobs on the side!

(and I dont appreciate the compensation comment
My skillz are 1337 enough thank you :p, I want to work with optimum video and sound though, so that my work can look as good as possible....I'm rather picky about that.)
Why bother asking our opinion then? Your comment comes across that you know exactly what your doing in what your buying and what you can do with it.... If that's the case, just go out and buy it... Just keep in mind that a powerhouse machine does not gurantee quality! Faster rendering time, editing and more storage, maybe, but in the end the music videos you produce in terms of quality will be dependent on your skills of being able to use the equipment and software.
In the end it's your money, I just think to answer your original question about this being a good machine for video editing, you could get a more optimized system for video editing with less money that would probably meet your needs....
