[Akross Con 2015] - This Love - When Two Hearts Meet

This is a sentimental edit - relating to events in my life currently between me and the man I have loved the past 8 years.
This edit came to me after listening to this song one winter morning when feeling rather emotional, so i channeled all my inner feelings and emotions to express them in a visual way. The theme of the diary / book & 3D heart relates back to me opening up the most vulnerable part of myself for a man I fell so in love with at the tender age of 16. Although we have our ups and downs, I wont give up on what we have =]

I worked hard on this for over 6 months, pushing myself as much as i could. Attempting to make my own scenes & animations as well. (some came out better than others).
I'm very proud of the overall result =], I also premiered this at Akross con 2015

about the video:
the 60fps works surprisingly well for most scenes , there are a few in there that look kinda odd in 60 fps though.
some transitions also felt a bit fast but for the most part the scenes work really well

So disappointed this one didnt make it to the finals, you said you were putting a lot of effort and the video shows it by itself. The combination did it for me and it was well appreciated, at least from me

i was supprised at how smooth it was in 60fps XD its my first time making all footage, project files (some with twixtor) and the render with 60fps, i did try to re work a few with twixtor as they lagged O.O (my original render for akross was only 23fps).

Yeah, i was a little guttered that i got 10th in the viewers top 7 vote, so close! but i was happy and amazed by all the positive feedback =]

Thank you! yeah ^^ there where many late nights and all nighter weekends throughout the making of this amv, but i really enjoyed every moment of making it =] and it defiantly helped me emotionally!
