So Saw Little Witch Academia 2 at AX and I immediately wanted to do a amv to it XD Its not my best work but I had fun. I hope you all enjoy!
I am finally getting around to uploading to the org. So I will probably start uploading my amvs around the time I post them to youtube. I unfortunately was copyrighted for this amv thus it was taken down. But I hope I can upload it again in the future.
please let me know what you think! Criticism is more than welcome!

Re: Magic Blitz!
I actually edited a AMV Contest into for MomoCon to this song about a year before the first Little Academia came out. And when I saw that Shiny Chariot starts off by literally saying "Welcome to the Show", a part of me always wanted to make a newer version of the intro with it
. But ironically, the 2nd Little Witch Academia has much better footage for it. And so when your video starts off with the first one, the combo feels a little weak for a while. And its not until the 2nd half that it really starts to come together. Instead of splitting the video evenly between the 2 episodes, I think that it would have been better to start off with the 2nd episode and maybe spread it out over the entire video. And then you could have added in scenes from the first episode at specific parts in the middle since neither ep has enough footage to carry the video alone.
But anyway, I feel that the editing could have been tweaked at parts, but I still enjoyed it (especially the 2nd half). And I think that you really captured the fun energy of the song and the anime. nice job

Thanks for the comment and critique. I agree it might have been better to spread out the footage rather than keep it a straight narrative between the episodes. But I usually like to edit in a narrative fashion, especially with limited footage. But i can see why it wouldn't work as well for a amv like this. So thank you. I am happy you enjoyed it despite it not being what you expected. I am just glad you enjoyed it overall. My main thing was basically capturing the essence of the song and series together and I am happy i accomplished it for the most part despite the amvs flaws.kireblue wrote:I actually edited a AMV Contest into for MomoCon to this song about a year before the first Little Academia came out. Re: Magic Blitz!
That was cute and very fun to watch.
It must have been challenging to edit with very limited material, but you made it work. I thought your masking was good too and helped keep the flow of the action parts.

Thanks! Yeah it was a challenge but I am happy it turned out well. Heh masking is still a challenge for me so I am still working on improving my skills with it. But thank you so much!Tigrin wrote:That was cute and very fun to watch. It must have been challenging to edit with very limited material, but you made it work.
