Hmm you're not the first one to say this. It's certainly not flawless. But the faster segments are actually not the problem in my eyes. Well thanks for the feedback.M'o'l wrote:Minimalistic sync can be coolTho i feel like it should pick up at faster segments of song

Re: Little B AKAdemia
The source combo works, but there was a bit of a disconnect in terms of mood. The song has this really serious and determined feeling to it, but Little Witch Academia is so light hearted and fun that although the lyrics are syncing, the mood felt off. I feel that the scenes up until 1:40 had this problem, but it went completely away after that. The scenes that you used from the 2nd episode actually matched the mood of the song perfectly. And so I really liked the last portion. Even when they were seen having fun dancing, it still worked very well because the scene still had this determined feeling to it. But I'm not sure that its just the scene selection that fixed the problem. I also feel that you were syncing to the beats a lot more in the last portion of the video. And so I think that adjusting the sync a bit in the first half may have had the same effect.

Thankyou! Check out the Anime then!Elixir wrote:Anime looks interesting. Was a nice watch for me.
I think this was the most helpful feedback that i got on this AMV, yet. There were quite a lot people on AMVNews complaining about flow issues but without pointing out specific areas. I know i was lazy in parts. But back then I just felt fixing those wouldn't change much. I had to put a lot more effort in the second half of the AMV due to the new LWA film having hardsubs. Looking for scenes and editing became a harder so maybe that's why the synch got better, too?kireblue wrote:The source combo works, but there was a bit of a disconnect in terms of mood. Anyway thanks for the feedback both of you!
