I was skeptical from the song, and how it played after every single episode of Ergo Proxy but I'd say you're a quick learner.. pretty cool in terms of trying new effects while syncing to the music. If you keep making videos I'd suggest confining only one or two major effects in a single video especially if it has mutliple anime cause for something like this to have several anime with text, twix etc. It's alot to take in at once and could even distract people from the overall concept or point of the video.

Thanks!!! :D I did have that worry of being a bit too effects heavy when I did the rewatch of the AMV, but I gotta go a bit flashy for my first!

First thing I like that you chose a concept and stood with it.
I think the video is pretty good overall.(amazing for a first time really) There is some weak parts in my opinion in the middle (some weak scenes choices), some twixtor scenes felt forced and I understand u were trying to connect all these different characters and overall u did a good job but I just think the zankyou no terror girl was kinda out of place because u dont have many epic scale scenes with her like u have with the others(due to the anime footage of course nothing u could have done there)
Overall I did enjoy it a lot keep it going!

Ps: I see we have a tokyo ghoul manga fan here ( noticed the reference in the beginning xD)

The editing and effect work was definitely really good  . I just feel that your anime choices were too random and didn't connect to each other at all. If you would have given your anime choices a more consistent theme than just being dramatic, I think that the video would have been more interesting.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

The overarching goal of the AMV was to tell a story from beginning to end, with a theme of corrupting innocence and the consequences it has on the instigators, or even the whole world. I tried to choose 4 children whom were forced into their situations and bent to the point where they snapped, with equal amounts of boys and girls to keep it neutral. The quote at the beginning is an introduction to the story they will be watching, similar to how Shakespeare begins his plays with a prologue to set the tone of the play. While it isn't as apparent, the final text at the end is in fact also a quote from the Madoka Magica Movie Mangas, and serves as the answer to the request at the beginning of the AMV (Leave me be. > Not yet.)

The basic layout was: Introduce Protagonist > Introduce friends/love interests/homosexual undertone "friends" > Show relationship to said protagonist > Introduce instigators/villains > Lead up to key events in the shows > EVERYONE YOU KNOW AND LOVE DIES > Fall (Loss of loved one, Realization, Depression, Isolation) > Corruption ("wings" become corrupted, and begins to envelop Protagonist) > "Deal with the Devil" (succumbing to corruption and making sure the instigator suffers)

3 of the 4 animes follow this very well, with Terror in Resonance being a bit iffy.

On an unrelated note, Slam Jammer Charles Barkley makes for a good placeholder image
