Back after a long break with a Kekkai Sensen AMV

I haven't made an AMV in many years but Kekkai Sensen is so good it made me finally bother to get my stuff together. Absolutely nothing fancy, getting used to the new video editing software and back into editing in general. Here's a youtube since the site apparently doesn't want me to upload the file yet:

Feedback appreciated, as always.

yes amvs pull you back >D

i really like the source combo and i can't explain why. I love that the music isn't something commonly found in current amvs and that its paired with a super new anime. the internal sync at 0:58 was also super cute :D
some advice I would give would be to cut clips a bit shorter to match the pacing of the song 0: i know the series is coming out now so there's a shortage of footage and it looks like you limited yourself to a couple of episodes, so that might have made it harder. a way around this would be to possibly cut the song so you have more options with footage and clips don't have to run so long

overall i thought it was cute O: i totally got the feeling you were going for. i hope you make more! :)
also the site might not let you upload because the series isn't confirmed yet since it's new. if you go over to site help & feedback forum you can ask for it to be confirmed so you can upload

from a viewer's perspective, it feels like you just took a scene from a episode, placed it on your timeline, cut out a few talking scenes and then rendered. I'm pretty sure that you actually did do a little more work than that, but it still feels like I'm just watching a episode of a anime series with music instead of its original audio. And so I feel that you just have to do a lot more cuts and sync in your video. So my tip to you is to pay attention to the beats in your song and try to have things happen on them. Also, try to use multiple episodes when you make a vid. And if you don't have a lot of episodes, just wait till more of them come out. Here is a really useful guide that explains a bunch of different types of sync. I think that it might be useful for you :D http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/v ... =2&t=92942 Oh and, welcome back to the community
