Both of your vids are very impressive for being your firsts. Your "I'm In Love With a Killer!" vid shows a understanding of sync and pace at a level that's really rare for a new editor to have. Its only real flaw is that it lost its flow at a few parts. There are moments where you gave your vid a really good pace and energy, but then you threw in a scene or two that didn't really keep up that energy and broke the flow a little bit. But overall, its still pretty amazing that you managed to edit this as well as you did.
In terms of your "Crimson Peak" vid, I feel that you could have introduced all the characters a little more effectively and not just show them on screen for dialog parts. I also feel that you could have focused a little harder on the min character. But the mood was definitely on point, and the source combo was really good. Again, its very impressive that you were even able to make this as good as it is. As someone that specializes in trailers, it always makes me happy to see people editing this genre, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you make next
