Kyoani - Thumbelina [AMV] Lip Sync
This is my second AMV. After my Studio Ghibli AMV I wanted to try something new. So I added a bit of Lip Sync to the AMV.
The lyrics might not really fit to the video but I think it's okay. I would be really glad about opinions Critism is always good.

one suggestion that I'll give you is to not speed up your clips do much. Sometimes scenes in anime are really slow and require you to speed them up, but you shouldn't do it so much that the moments look unnatural. Another thing that you should try to do is give your scenes a more consistent flow. Its hard for me to describe how to do this, but trying to transition between scenes with similar movements, and energy is something that helps you achieve good flow. Not a bad start though. This was pretty good for a 2nd attempt. Keep it up

One thing that I do when I'm editing is to minimise distractions... and it's painful because people don't know how much work there goes into removing these elements... there's this thing called 'lip flap' which is the character's mouth moving when there's no words spoken. This vid had A LOT at 1:31 because of the way you speeded it up - there was no way it could be the lyrics. xD I don't know what program you're using, but I'd suggest taking a screenshot of the character's mouth closed, using the crop effect so it just shows the mouth, then put positional keyframes at the beginning and end of that shot so it follows the footage at the same rate. Basically, the mouth won't move.
I think fans of the anime will get a lot out of your vid. ^^
