  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

You kept cutting to long black screens with nothing happening which felt weird. especially considering that they weren't exactly short like a fade to black and then fade into next clip or a quick flash in between clips to emphasize a beat, they were 5seconds to 13 seconds long each, to the point where in the middle of it I started asking myself "Why are there so many black screens?". They may have worked had they not been so long with multiple beats happening during them, but they ended up just feel like you didn't know what to put there so you just left the section blank and thus felt weird. Also I would suggest to not start the amv with 13 seconds of no clips, I heard crackling noise which I wasn't sure if it was the audio or the video screwing up, and then it just started playing which also seemed weird, and if it hadn't been on youtube where I thought it could have been the video player acting up for the umpteenth time and me trying to figure out if I should refresh the page, and then the video starts playing in that time where I'm debating if its the video or the video player, there is a larger chance of me clicking away from the video and not watching it at all. Of the editing that had been done it wasn't band, I would say just continue to work on your timing a bit more, especially were you have the jump cuts in the beginning of the amv because some of them didn't hit on a beat and was pretty noticeable.

- Get rid of the long black screen at the beginning; add something there or take it off
- All the quick, subtle zoom ins didn't work for me, especially if the scene is scrolling up.
- Bunch of random scenes that don't match the song.
