  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

2 AMVs- JSR/JSRF Project entry and Digimon Tamers

Post by SQ » Fri Jan 03, 2003 3:20 pm

Yes, and they're sharing an announcement page! [sarcasm=wh00t!]

Anyway, My parody on DBZ is "Sneak the Future" with footage from "Bardock: The Father of Goku" It's only around 20ish seconds long but wait until NME comes out with everyone's version of the JSR/JSRF project if you can't deal with the horrendously crappy video quality. Yes. I know ><. It was DVD Ripped but WMV format has ripped it to shreds. When the entirety of the JSR/JSRF Project is released, you'll see the good DVD-Rip. Trust me. In case you haven't figure it out by now, that was my JSR/JSRF Project entry. The AMV is to "SneakMan Toronto Mix" from JSRF. Enjoy if you can stand the horrible video quality.
If you DO go to see it, READ THE DESCRIPTION or else you'll think it's a non-stop action with no plot DBZ video.

My second and newer video(just finished) is called "Rika's Blindness".
It is a character profile of Renamon from Digimon Tamers. I got the footage thanks to Fatty_VM and this AMV was made on request for starsetter. It has episodes 3 and 4 of Tamers footage, so there are no spoilers, and it's to Linkin Park's Pushing Me Away Remix. (So sue me if I didn't wnat to type in all the l33t). I know you probably won't watch it because it's using such an overused song but it's there for download anyway.
Sound quality is so-so, video quality is around a B if you gave it a grade. The only major downfall of the video is that I wanted to reduce my hardships so I didn't take the FoxKids bug out ><.
Again, if you end up watching this video, READ THE DESCRIPTION or you'll think my effort with it was minmal.

There's my two-in-one announcement and plead for opinions.

Minmal=minimal^

Here, I have a deadly correction to make.

I said the Digimon AMV was made on request for startsetter. What I meant was:

starwire

I even did that mistake in the credits!!!!

I can't download your video. The server is refusing my request.

Wait awhile. Tripod's bandwidth sucks. You can view the next time when you can view it "How many hours until site comes back up" by clicking the direct link regularly.
