Hello everyone. StarTrinity009 and I have decided to write our thoughts and opinions of our 3 favorite anime of the past season, and we would like to share them with you. So at the start of each new season, we will post our comments, and then update the title of this thread to keep them all in one place and to let you know when we release a new one. Feel free to discuss our picks in this thread and to make your own recommendations of shows that we may have missed.

PixelBlended Studios - PixelBlended’s summer picks with kireblue and StarTrinity009 are finally here! There were too many good shows this season, so the picks took a while. However, thank you for supporting us, and we will see you again when fall season ends. We already have some picks in mind!

For Summer Nozaki-kun (hilarious comedy, excellent characters) and Aldnoah (an actual cool main character, interesting story, cliffhanger ending) were definitely my favorite ones, 3rd place is a bit of a tossup between several series including Tokyo ghoul, akame ga kill and Zankyou no Terror.

For Spring I had a ton of series I liked, kind of hard to rank them. Jojo's Bizarre Adventures: Stardust Crusaders, Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii, Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara and No Game No Life all competed for my top 3. can't really pick any of them as being better than the others as they are all different genres and are good for their own reasons.
Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin, Hitsugi no Chaika, Black Bullet and Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei were very close behind those top 4.

yeah, Zankyou no Terror would have been my 4th pick. I also saw Tokyo Ghoul, but it wasn't really one of my favorites. It seemed really overhyped to me, and I don't feel that it lived up to it. I actually enjoyed Tokyo ESP more.

I saw a lot of shows from the Spring season, but out of you picks, the only one that I watched beside "No game, No Life" was Black Bullet. It had a lot of characters that I liked, so I wouldn't mind seeing a second season for it. Also can't wait for the second season of "No game, No Life".

Interesting that Pyscho-Pass 2 was placed so highly. I couldn't get past the obvious downgrade in writing quality... Tow Ubukata didn't seem to have as good a grasp on the characters as Urobuchi... then again, I only made it to episode 3.

Personally, I didn't really notice a change in the quality of the writing and still enjoyed it very much. I actually recommend that you give it another chance and watch 1 or 2 more episodes. If you stopped at episode 3, you literally dropped it right before 2 of the best parts. Episodes 4 and 5 were really good IMO
