I never got around to posting reviews for all the videos, but this one was one of my top picks. Those kind of sources are a pain to lip sync and I was impressed that you got it to work so well.

#33 and #34 were mine.

I'm all for people supporting one another and I really like broadway musicals.

I didn't get around to reviews either. That one made me want to see the movie. (Also one of my guesses was wrong. )

Since we can claim them now I did #127 and #128. And the band is "Five Finger Death Punch". Not Fingered... thought it's possible I got it wrong when submitting the info.

I went back and re-did my video as far as timing and fixing the aspect ratio, plus adding more script filters in order to clean it up better. I'll be showing it during the editor spotlight. My video was #51. Anyways, thank you all for your feedback. I really focused on it and worked more on the timing as it was loose and I did not see it at first. As for the aspect ratio, I watch the series on my 55" TV and it stretches it out so that how I thought it was suppose to look. I didn't read the back of the DVD case to see it was 4:3. Live and learn.

Anyways, great job with the Bird video Rider, and Cyanna I liked yours too. There were some really enjoyable videos this year.

Mine were #75 and #84

#75
I had the idea for 75 for over 6 months as I love Les Friction (surviving member/brother of E.S. Posthumus) and after I finished my Attack on Badassdom and my NDK videos I thought why not make it. Of course 3 days before the deadline for AWA I showed it to Koop... he says he enjoyed it and then says... but... (long pause) you are going to laugh. I think the worst... I say someone made the same combo and he says yes lol. Oh well it happens and I still love the video as my edit / vision is very different from the Russian one which is more of a action video. I love the comments so far about it and was very happy it was nominated for both action and drama (I personally see it as a drama).

#84
I honestly didn't know this movie was in distribution limbo for 2 years and thought it just came out... thus I never saw nor knew of Driftroot's Final Fantasy version. I had a chuckle when I saw her Star Trek Captain Harlock trailer tho this year as I think I made the first Harlock AMV (which was a trailer) for last AWA using a background song that sounds very Star Trek so for people bringing up her Knights of Badassdom video I thought this a funny coincidence. Anyway, I was really happy how it turned out / hope the crowds love it... and all I have to say is LIGHTING BOLT!

I can't help but feel a little bummed with the same combo and hearing well I can't help but think of Driftroot's version... but I was really happy with my entries this year vs last AWA which was my first con after a 10+ year retirement from editing AMVs.
