It sure did, I was wondering that myself. Guess people are holding their tongues on the video reviews as well as waiting for voting to be over to post which vids were theirs. One thing I can say though is congrats to all the nominees.

I keep going back and forth with a few of these. There're no clear cut winners this year imo.

I noticed a sudden drop in reviews this year - doubt that will change though even after voting is closed. As to winners, very few of my picks actually made it into the finals list so I had to pick all new winners for a lot of them O_o

My votes are in and I agree, there were more than a few toss-ups. XYZ video is good in these areas, but not so good in others...but this other one IS good in those other areas, just not good enough in yet OTHER areas. Made me think hard about my votes. I may not personally love the "best" video in a category, but that doesn't mean I can't see it's better than the others. That's what this contest is about, right? Higher voting standards than the general con audience? hehe

Congrats to all the nominees and thanks to everyone who posted reviews about the individual entries! A number of reviewers helped me look at my entry in a different way and learn from some mistakes. Reading comments about the other videos highlighted aspects to those I may not have considered, and definitely gave me reason to watch certain videos again from a different perspective.

I won't be at AWA (maybe someday...), but I hope everyone going has fun! :)
