I wouldn't be as harsh as MouseBullocks but I would say I prefer watching your videos that have a stronger single concept that can last longer than 10 seconds.

That said the video was great and the jokes were witty and hilarious. I loved seeing it at Otakon and I'm not surprised at all that it won Best in Show.

Thanks. Yeah, I prefer single concept videos as well, but I was all burnt out and nothing I came up with really felt strong so I decided to cash in my stack of clip ideas, haha. This is probably a one time thing.

I expect most editors to not like it as there is a general dislike for videos of this style (participating in contests). I am pretty happy with the result and I honestly was surprised so many people like it considering the humor I used...a few at the con were really upset about the Hughes joke and one screamed out "I am not okay with this!" lol...

Honestly, the Hughes joke was my favorite by far. Followed by Vegeta.

what's the Hughes part is that a character in the scene? Nevermind I probly don't want to know it'd only make the experience worse... Well other than the EVA footage (that was VERY creative!!) I wasn't too impressed. I could understand why true competitors may not like these kind of videos included in competition lol but screw them -_- I'm all about if it's funny it's good, this just wasn't funny to me LOVED the EVA intro though.

On the other two well I like the Final Countdown one! Why is it so soft though??

But for the entertainment value, "Vaudeville" style humor is an art in of itself. Changing subjects, non-sequitur, placement of ideas next to each other. I mean, who doesn't like Animaniacs? Even Family Guy draws upon the Vaudeville style.

So I don't want to underrate this style of video. In fact, I found it pretty good.

Yes, it was the name of the character in one of the clips, but if you don't know that character I can get why you wouldn't get that joke, lol...

Yeah, I did lean more towards a few types of jokes so it doesn't really stretch to a wide audience well, but I'm glad you enjoyed the Evangelion clip.

I didn't do anything different to the audio, it's just how it was originally mastered.
