Thank you so much. I am really glad you enjoyed it.Davis 51 wrote:I'd been thinking awhile of using this song in something. Had an idea awhile ago to do a Live Action video with The Matrix trilogy.
What you just did blew all the ideas I had out of the water. Major props to you.
I actually tried multiple times creating an AMV to this song. My first try was with Grave of the Fireflies, but then I realized its full potential after adding in more Studio Ghibli sources. It took LOTS of time though.

But can there ever be such a thing as too much Ghibli? XDShui wrote:Pros: Great Atmosphere / Very nice/thoughtfull scene changes especially during the refrain

Haha! I totally understand what you are saying though. There have been so many videos with Ghibli content and "Creating Something Beautiful" kind of blows most other Ghibli videos out of the water!
I am glad you liked my overall edit though. My main goal was to focus on scene change transitions actually! It's a great thing they turned out well.

MinetChan,
I am a huge Ghibli guy... so I agree there never can be enough. My AWA Master's winning video was a Ghibli compilation a long time ago...
I was glad to see you won Best Drama as the Best Staff was a last minute add I felt was needed since the Staff felt so strongly about your video. I must admit I honestly wasn't 100% sold on your video in the first 30-60 seconds, but once it got going it really jived for me. I really love videos where if you allow it to build it pays off... and your video did.
Here is my oldschool Ghibli compilation... so need to remaster in HD

Also props for Ring of Fire... I didn't think it would have a chance in the competition, but I love you used old school anime / re-worked them how you did. I had a funny moment with a woman cosplaying as Sailor Moon before the contest and I told her to watch out for a video with SM. After the contest she said she loved it...

Wow. Your Ghibli tribute is absolutely breathtaking. It has such an old nostalgic feel to it, and you created such a lovely atmosphere with the instrumental music. I think it's amazing how many different people can create a Ghibli tributes, but make them just as memorable! Yours will be added to the folder of Ghibli tributes I horde on my desktop!MaboroshiStudio wrote:MinetChan,

Thank you so much. I feel so honored for the Staff recognition. I wasn't expecting much to be honest. So when I saw the Awards list, I went completely bonkers!
And thank you for sharing with me that story about the cosplayer. I love hearing about and watching convention reactions, but unfortunately I don't live in Tennessee! XD

Someone once made a horror trailer / parody with Totoro that was funny...lloyd9988 wrote:Nothing related to the video but I feel like, when concerning Ghibli, its basically like anything goes, sort of deal, huh??MaboroshiStudio wrote:MinetChan,
