I was contemplating this idea I was just curious what you guys think, so here goes:

How about a video which is half anime and half band (live)footage making it feel like a real band clip.

Ideas?

Well I wish I still had it. But our good friend from the Bid for power forums did just that. He used Akira and the live Metallica DVD Cunning Stunts with the track 'One'. IT was probably 60% Akira footage and 40% Metallica, there was a REALLY cool part where it strobed back and forth between the two (well it was cool to me at the time).

Anyway, i'll give my old Harddrive a poke, and see if I can find it.

ACK. he was SSJ4GOD or something to that nature. I think his sister died in a car crash or something. She desinged planetoro.com (now long dead) which is where I used to get my videos hosted. For free, from Fire the 14 year old who knew WAY too much about hentai. Anyway. On the Topic of BFP. Griffer sucks cock.

You mean a combo of anime footage and footage from the band's video?

Someone did something like that with Evangelion to "Everything You Want" by Vertical Horizon. It's on Kazaa.

Oh yeah I know who you mean NME, I liked that guy he was one of the cooler people on that board. Anyway so it's been done before, I'll have to check out one of the videos to judge for myself how it looks, what did you guys think of the videos that used this technique?

Akira - One was pretty good.

Although SSJ4 kinda got lazy near the end after the big strobey-flashing part. I think if mixed right it could be very nice looking and effective. While Tommy Rude (omg was he banned?! too bad if he was) made his EVA/LP crossover video what with the Mike Shinoda and the Shinji singin' the song. WOOT for not MAKING sense. Anyway, I've been toying with a live action thingy video type thing for a while now. I am very convinced that if done right it could be kick ass. (not to sound like a dick but, I'M USUALLY RIGHT ABOUT THESE THINGS) Anyway. DUCK TASTES GOOD.
