Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Man what to say about this video...

I wanted a sincere romance video with heavy over tones and
not just a bunch of endless face shots. This video has been a lot
of work and my first real experience with transition tuning. Normally
I stay clear of FX when it comes to romance but this time I embraced
them as well..

I tired to stay true to the song and the source without cheapening
ether...I hope you feel the same way

Your transitions are a bit rought and some scenes are too long but overall you did a good job, i found it cute and funny sometimes <3 also...this song seems hard to edit D: at least for me so kudos for that

Some scenes are a bit long due focusing too much on storytelling and atmosphere which
I have a tendency to do. I was constantly at war between a constant story pacing and the
beat pacing :)

Also I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Admittedly, this is a hard anime to edit with. It has a heck of a good opening and good ending, but the show is just..... ugh....

Anyway, what to say.... Flow could be improved, transitions were good at times and bad at others. Song is also hard to edit with, so to edit with this song along with this anime is pretty rough unless you use some other sources to help you out. I did like that this was more of a comedic romantic pacing rather than the tragic pacing that the anime 'attempted' to portray (I say attempt cause I think they just utterly failed at making it much more romantic and heart-felt than it was.). But, other than that, I think you did a decent job with this amv. Could be improved but, eh, whatevs.

I've been doing amv's for a while now.. But I stuck to phade and straight cutting.
Playing with transitions and some heavy filtering was trying to get out of my safe zone.
I mean if your not challenging yourself what's the point. Alas we can only build from
experience :)

As much as I'm a sucker for perfect sync, this actually worked somehow. So great job on the storytelling.
