Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal Directors Cut - May 20, 2003 (Bastards...They put this out after everyone and their moms have the cut versions and they wait so long)

Just wanted all of the Kenshin fans to know of the release.

Heard about this on another site, but are there any details on the director's cut? Like what the hell did they cut out? I hope nothing like Kite vs Kite director's cut.

Thats great news. I have been waiting for the second OVA for so long now. Not too sure about the directors cut, though.

From what I understand, the "Director's Cut" of the original Kenshin OVA is the four "episodes" spliced together and presented in a widescreen "theatrical" format. I'm not sure whether or not any content is added / deleted (save ending credits between episodes, which would make sense to be cut if it's all spliced together).

It got a region two release a while back.. pretty sure it's in the AnimeOnDVD.com archives.

Hmm.. since there releaseing both the origanal OAV and the second OAV.. I wonder if they're going to redub the first OAV for the sake of continuity with the directors cut.
