I don't really have any quarrels with the ending. Apart from the fact that Knives just appeared out of nowhere I mean you heard about him throughout and saw him as a kid but all of a sudden he just appears, they fight, he losses and Vash saunters back into town with him slung over his shoulder. Vash didn't prove Knives right either. He killed Legato because he had no choice. If he didn't the girls would have been killed and to use the cliche the butterflies would have died to save the spiders and who wants that. However it was a shame that Wolfwood had to die I liked him but didn't you think that the screams if both Milly and Vash were brilliantly gutteral in the japanese version. Anyway that's my view, Vash could cry all he wanted it was all good comedy even when it was supposed to be serious.

I actually thought why Lagato was able to control people was because he was a human himself. A somewhat afteraffect of merging a human with alien biology (Or powerplant biology) and that is how he got his power. I never saw Knives demonstrate this ability, even when Wolfwoods teacher died since Lagato was there and could have been tortureing him while Knives talked.Wykith wrote: Vash never used even a tenth of his potential as a superior being. Legato got the power to control other's actions just by having Vash's arm....his arm. Imagine what Knives can do with just the act of not being unconcious.
It would be cool to see this series continue, as there could be a lot of issues still made, but without wolfwood it would seem something would be missing.
o wait, are we still on this topic?

I think it got continued in a manga. I'm definetly going to have to find that sucker! I wouldn't mind if they came out with a season 2 though.
