I thought the opening scenes with the cloaked man set up the mood well.I'm not sure what else could be used doing that 'boing' SFX scene that wouln't feel just as out of place [What was even in the original trailer footage for that?] so I understand why you went for that, but I wish there was some kinda follow-up where Asuna actually reacted to it, would make things flow a little better.
Minor gripe, when the music picks up and all the action starts, there is a lot of crossfading going on, I think hardcuts would fit the action better.
