Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

*sigh. So let's see, I posted the first post on May 29th. Not a single comment from anybody until now, and it's about me breaking the rules. Note that I didn't post all my AMVs all at once. Look at the dates. I actually didn't want to spam the forum by making new threads every time, thus I was just posting them into one thread, but I guess that's not good either.

And still, no actual feedback. But that's okay. I just want to share what I created. A mod can lock this thread if it continues to be off topic.

for a first amv it's not so bad, you have interesting scene choices at some times, i kinda understood what the anime's about except for the ending.

there's some things which bugged me, though:

the blurry effect à 1:47, is that in the anime? cause it wasn't well placed IMO.

the opening have the texts, you should find the sources in raw or find creditless OP/ED, that would be a lot cleaner.

you have also sources with a persistent logo on the upper-right side(please, choose your fansubbing group wisely and pick the BDrip if possible) + constant and sometime confusing subtitles, . trailers can have it, but most of the time, it's when the characters actually talk ( by that, i mean you have the original audio) and the music must be a lot less intense cause it must be used as a background; now, we've always alternating our attention with texts + music which aren't exactly fitting.

for sync/rythm, it's a trailer so i'll let it slide, you don't use really flashy/awful effects, and that's a good point. but considering the amv-trailer last 4 minutes, it's quite long for a trailer, and then it gets much less breath-taking at the second half, especially when you do only cuts. using some "spoiling" scenes isn't good for a trailer too, cause you don't want to show everything (like the final(?) fight).

bonus point for the funny ending, even if it sounds really unrealistic, having a "nightmare" with two lolis of his age, is the guy interested to bishonen ? :uhoh:

that should be enough. for the rest, i suggest you to try virtualdub+ sony vegas/adobe premiere, imovie can be enough to start with, but if you want to continue, you should consider a more useful program.
