Ringleader (Project OrgEditor Semifinal Round)

YouTube link (warning: horrible pitch shift ahead) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDnDu6vhcvY

So, this was my entry for the semifinals of Project OrgEditor, in which we had to remake a 2012 VCA/JCA winner, so I chose Ringleader, by Hagaren Viper (as you can probably see by the title, I am not the most creative person alive). I don't think I've actually remade it, I just tried to use some of the original effects, but since we just had a week to edit, I'm pretty satisfied with what I did.

Feedback is always welcome! :)

First off: Your DIRECT link is actually INDIRECT. You should change that so people (like me) don't go and save the .htm on their pc instead of the video.

I don't think I've seen the "original" video but I thought this video was very well done. It matched the beats and atmosphere, lyric-sync and theme were spot-on and in general the editing suited the song to go along. Not my kind of music, so I noticed I didn't really pay attention in some parts (I tried too though because i love the anime) but that isn't your fault.

Love the outro

I really liked this one, being a fan of Britney and everything. XD I think you did a nice job following the original in terms of effects and sync, the sync was especially awesome actually and you also had some really nice scene selection. There are a few parts where I felt the pacing was a tiny tad slow because the scenes were more static and had less impact but otherwise, a fantastic video.

Why, thank you very much! :D Britney was also one of the reasons why I picked Ringleader, to be honest, I remember listening to this song for a few days right after it came out :b

I'm happy you chose my video as a base! In couldn't believe that you were using this song with Bakemono but you made it work very well. This show had so many talking heads that I forgot how fluid the animation could be.

And the credits made me lose it..looks like you even matched my font. I was crazy amused XD

I am really honored for receiving your comment (: I LOVED Ringleader, but I didn't know that it had won a JCA, so I was really happy when I found that out!

Yeah, the credits xD At some point I just told myself that this wasn't turning out as a remake, so I had to at least make the credits look similar :b The font was just a coincidence, though, I've had it on my computer for some time and I just randomly came across it while I was making the video (:
