I think it was a cute AMV. The literal sync and the whole "fun" factor of it was enough for me to really enjoy it.
That being said, the differences in quality (between the old sources and new sources) were just a tad jarring at times, especially considering that some of the Cowboy Bebop/trigun looked good, while some of it didn't look nearly as good (I assume one was from the movie and the other from the old series?). Lip sync was passable. Some bits during the chorus parts were slow considering the pacing that could be there, but it's a minor complaint.
