Well, I can say I got interested in this because I haven't seen an Inuyasha AMV in quite awhile. Hopefully at some point (maybe soon) it will have a revival sort of like Utena is going through, in that enough time will have passed since it wore out its welcome that people actually edit well with it again and their audience doesn't reject what they're watching simply b/c it's Inuyasha. Maybe you'll be a trailblazer!! Only time will tell!
I know we're not supposed to comment on song choice, but since that's clearly a factor here I'll throw it out that the lyrics were difficult to understand and the pacing of the visuals did not help in this regard. Having watched it twice, I still don't really know specifics of what the song or video is about, other than a lot of action scenes and a message about laying the smack down in the face of adversity. Perhaps there is a correlation between the lyrics and the visuals, but the song itself was not clear and the editing too fast-paced to provide much context.
As far as the editing and video components...the sync right in the beginning kept my interest and my hopes up, but around the 1-minute mark I experienced a sinking feeling b/c I realized things had become really repetitive and tiring. You built up all this crazy energy, but then there was no path to come down from it so the AMV could ramp up again later on. Obviously the song keeps things way up there, but the beat sync could have been toned way down and more internal sync employed. This would have given more time to clarify a story, break up the repetitive sync and focus attention on the really dramatic scenes so they got the punch they needed. Everything was pretty much equal in this AMV, whether it was Kagome and Inuyasha snuggling by the fire or Naraku getting eviscerated. A little later on in the AMV the editing did break things up a bit, but I'd have liked to see much more.
