OK All!

YES INDEED!!!! It's now totally official.. Not only are there the panels for AMVs on Friday and the contest, but NOW we'll have AMV happiness all DAY LONG on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 10:30 PM!!!

SO first we start with the staple Iron Chief event - I'll be helping Nic and Brad and be bringing so.. hmmmm.. uhhh.. well… lets just say very interesting audience participation games to play to AMVs :D

Next up we have the "AMV Interactive" Block!

What's that you say? Well, I'll be bringing my Radio like brand of AMV interactive Programming to AX this year! As this is the first year we'll be doing a long block, we got a pretty awesome lineup of stuff planned which includes

- AMV Parodies of AMVs
- AMVs That Made Us Buy the Anime
- AMV Mortal Combat! <-- With the opening video done by none other then the King of Waffles himself)
- That Was then and This is Now
- Coming to a Theater Near You!
- Top 12 AMVs of All Time Countdown MTV Style
- Lastly, WTF Videos - End the show by blowing up people's minds!

All with cool graphic title cards and even Commercial Parodies in between just like on the radio!

BTW, for AMVs that Made us Buy the Anime, I got a core of ones that made a lot of people buy Anime, but if anyone wants to add a few other suggestions, PM them to me... HOWEVER, if I select to play them, you'll have to be there in person to "Explain" to the audience why

Also, people love countdowns so much, we cound not resist... I polled many creators on this, but I would like to also have some input from all everyone here too, so if you have a top ten list of what you think are the Best AMVs of ALL TIME, PM it to me and I'll add it the matrix... No one will know what they are until the day of :D

And there might even be a surprise or two! Make sure you all come, this year if we can pack the room for most of the events, we might be able to get even more time next year and expand things to include a lot more

It's the year of the AMV at AX |:>

Also note: It'll be in the same room as AMV Chef, which is a workshop room that seats approximately 500. It's expected that the room will have a constant line. Plan accordingly.

Simply put, if these blocks don't attract a full room of people then there is something wrong with attendies in LA..

I highly doubt it though, I think AMVs rule just as much in LA as anywhere else

With the X-games going on and if the heat holds up into July, people are gonna wanna stay inside and are gonna want to hang out somewhere, so why not an AMV room?

The past few years have definitely proven AMVs > cosplay at AX.
