How far is it? I don't wanna drive anywhere other than the hotel area.

It's in the Little Tokyo mall, not near the hotels unfortunately. the only things near the hotels are too expensive or already overflowing with other attendees. we'll take another look tho.

Okay, i have good news about the scheduling regarding the meet&greet, however i do not know yet what the scheduling is for the other AMV events, so i'm going to hold off on announcing the time and place because it *may* change.

Now we just need to hope that the AMV stuff is all seperated and not against itself... If it all goes as planned, there will be a good amount of AMV stuff this year!!

I got my plane ticket all booked, so I'll be there from Day 0 to Last day (fly out then)...

I've been in contact with the Programming people and they've been made aware of the need to avoid AMV scheduling conflicts. They're working with me. For now though, to anyone who is hosting a panel that received confirmation of their panel, the timeslot you were assigned is NOT accurate. Timeslots were sent prematurely, so stay tuned. Any questions, inquire with me directly.

For those of you who have put in a panel request with programming, here's the schtick: If you've brought me into the loop on your activity as well, I can help make sure your panel doesn't conflict with the other AMV activities happening that day (hint: avoid Saturday past noon ). If you haven't brought me into the loop, I'll stay out of it, and you'll get whatever timeslot you requested, which may or may not end up being what you really want.

The safest times presently are Friday before late afternoon, Saturday before noon, Sunday early morning and late evening (which would put you against Masq), and Monday. NOTE: This advisory is tentative and subject to change.

Dinner is going to be held at Honda-ya in the Little Tokyo MALL (not plaza) at 7pm on Thurs Day 0. reservations have been made in the tatami section of the restaurant so we will be chillin' on the floor with our shoes off (so make sure to wear CLEAN SOCKS!) you have been warned. Bring your laptops for show and tell if you wish, and charge them. I did not check if they have outlets we can use. This little gathering will be completely informal. i plan on drinking
