Ike's Tragedy

Post by Cyrix » Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:21 am

Respects to the trials and tribulations of poor dear Ike. I actually consider this video hilarious, but to most it might look more like a drama.

Note: I haven't seen any of the third season yet, so please don't spoil anything

It doesn't seem to allow me to see the video =/ Did you post it here? Or is it on YouTube where I might be able to view it there?

Whoops! Hmm, I guess it didn't go through the first time I confirmed the upload. Maybe I closed the browser too fast. Anyway, this time it's confirmed, should be available in a few minutes. Thanks for pointing that out.

I see what you mean when you say the video is kind of funny. The music kind of goes along, but the character it's centered around comes off as kind of awkward, and in combination, it is pretty amusing even if it is supposed to be more dramatic Lol. Not bad though. It wasn't particularly down my alley, but good all the same :) Keep it up!

Thanks Gito. FYI (I don't know if you've seen or remember this episode) Ike is trying to impress the girl but he's too self-concious and melodramatic and collapses into this devastated state every time anything small goes wrong. The end result is this (intentionally) absurdly over-dramatic comedy of an episode, and I was trying to capture that in the AMV (hence the extremely dramatic song), but without the dialog and remembering the episode it might not appear that's what's going on.

I was really hoping this would be about Ike from Fire Emblem

Anyway, this video is not bad at all! I noticed some orphan frames, though. And a little bit too much lip-flap. But the mood is good and I think you did a good job overall.

Thanks irriadin. I'm not sure what you mean by orphan frames. Could you describe where that occurs?
