[EDIT: OH, it went through. Looks like I won't be murdering chrome today. >)]
Well, I wrote an opinion, but my browser doesn't seem to be working right...it seems to be frozen on a white page. O____O I wrote a lot though, so if it doesn't go through, I'm going to be a little more than annoyed with chrome. >(
An overall gist of what I said:
Pros: You had great timing and song choice for the anime (and the time period of which it existed).
Cons: The quality wasn't the best...the pixelation every few seconds (from the downloaded version?) kinda took away from the video. There were a couple of effects that weren't my cup of tea as well, but otherwise...
And overall I liked it, it was a good watch. The fact that I downloaded it says a lot, haha, as I rarely download anything...meh, maybe that'll change today. :] Keep up the editing!

Thanks for the review! ^__^
Yeah. The quality is kinda bad. I tried so hard to fix it but it's an older series and every filter I put on it just made it worse. :__: I made this odd "swishy" effect in all the dark areas when I tried to smooth the pixelization.
The song going with the time period was exactly why I chose it. I'm so glad you caught that. ^___^

And yup, Ran is a girl. She's kind of androgynous. But there are scenes where she looks more feminine.

It's certainly not often an entire AMV is centered around someone fighting to get back to their booze. Lol.

Nice video! Very old school editing philosophy you've got there, it's refreshing to see it again. The scene selection did get a little bit stale, but the length of the video is perfect.
Good job! (The song also makes me want to play some DDR.)
