  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.

Decent editing, but too much reliance on Yoko-box and lip-sync (which frankly, wasn't very good either). The music felt a little detached from the video source, I would have tried to find clips with a lot more movement.

Cool. You've got a good foundation here, just take it to the next level! :)

This AMV needed more movement sync. The best parts of the video were when you edited the movements of the characters to the flow of the song. I think that you needed to keep that trend throughout most of the video. Oh and when I say movement sync, I don't necessary mean dance scenes. Any movement can be synced to the flow of the song (this can either be character movement or camera angle movement)

Pretty much this. Even adding a small or subtle amount of pan/zooming would help the video feel more dynamic, especially during relatively static shots.

Keep on testing and experimenting.
